    85 hp us marine won't stay running

    So my 85 HP us marine motor won't stay running. Cleaned everything, fresh fuel and oil, battery charged. It fires but doesn't idle very long and dies. I have done about all I can. Any suggestions before I take it to a Mechanic

    battery issues

    I have a 85 HP force and when I hook up the battery I can lift and lower the motor. If I leave it connected it won't start when I get to the lake.
