    35 HP tune up kit on a 9 HP

    I need to replace my breaker point contact on my 9hp and wanted to know if anyone has used a 35 hp kit on a 9 hp? The parts list for the 9 hp tune up kit says good for 2- 20 hp. All i need are the breaker contacts. Thanks

    1967 9.2hp Sea King

    I just bought this motor at a garage sale. Got it running after putting new plugs and impeller in. It runs great when in neutral but when I put it into gear it won't turn hardly any RPMs. I took the prop off and put the plastic cap on and it would turn that fine.
