    87 force 125 started to die on full trottle after a few minutes

    My boat works fine right off the start but after a while it starts to loose power and I have to come off the trottle or it will bog, if I let it idle on neutral for a bit and hit it in gear full trottle it's fine for a few seconds then starts to die out.. I can shut it off or idle it and retry...

    I am timing my force 125 and would like to see if im correct in doing so. on the flywheel there is 1 mark on the flywheel that lines up with the mark on the plate above the carbs and that is TDC. when in neutral and timing gun on first cylinder plug the lines are pretty close to being lined up...

    Lower unit gear order 87 force 125

    I am doing work on the lower unit of my 87 force 125 and I have taken out the clutch dog and the first gear ( the one closest to the prop.) I believe that gear would be the forward gear. So wondering if I'm right or maybe that is the reverse gear and the one on the other side of the drive shaft...
