    I have went through my lower unit many times, everything looks good and is there. No metal shaving or anything.     1972 chysler 45 hp

    I been having issues with my engine, it will go into gear (forward and reverse) sometimes. When i get it into gear the prop will spin and idle ok but once I put throttle up it just does nothing its like it is not catching or something I am out of ideas and really do not no much about boat motors
