    It starts right up and runs with full power and after a mile or so it just cuts out. Sometimes it starts right up again but most of the time it cranks and cranks and will not start......give it 5 minutes and it starts right up. Does not matter if idle or high RPM it just conks out.     1990 60hp evinrude....steering

    Just got this motor and mounted it and installed new steering........steering is too loose. Where do you tighten up on the motor so it has more resistance. Have looked all over housing and cannot see the bolt/screw/nut. Thanks.

    1971 johnson 50 hp

    Why is lower carb spraying gas out of the throat? Good spark on both cylinders, new plugs, carb taken off and cleaned with no signs of blockage or stuck float. Motor runs but 40% power with lots of gas coming out???
