    Will Mercury Tilt Trim fit a Chrysler Outboard?

    I have a 78 Mercury 115 that is not running and may replace it with an 82 135 Chrysler. I have been told that the Mercury tilt/trim might fit the Chrysler. Is that true? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks!

    78 18' Kona Makai Outboard Boat motor size?

    I am trying to find out how big an outboard motor this boat is rated for. I cannot find any technical info on it. I am going to have to replace the motor that is on it (Merc 115) but was told not to go over a 150. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

    '78 Mercury 115 will not shift into reverse.

    The motor does go forward but will not go into reverse. Looked at the linkage and it seems to be working. Any help is appreciated.

    I have been told I need to re jet the carbs for elevation. It doesn't look to hard in the repair manual but I am by no means a mechanic. Would I need any special tools?     78 115 mercury outboard won't idle, could it be an elevation problem?

    I bought the boat in Pheonix (1,100 ft)and brought to Albuquerque(5,000ft). Do I need to adjust the carbs? Or maybe adjust the idle? Thanks for any advice.

    NEED HELP 78 mercury ignition switch wiring

    I replaced a 5 prong ignition switch on what I think is a 115 Mercury outboard. The switch is labeled A,B,D,E,F. I connected the switch the way I thought it was supposed to be.
