    86 Force 125 tachometer problem

    The tach on my 86 Bayliner seems to read fine at low RPM, but never goes above ~2500. I'm pretty certain the engine is running about 2500 RPM - it gets up on plane right away and at full throttle it will do about 40 MPH (still showing about 2500 on the tach) Any idea why the tach would read...
