I have just bought a 1997 Yamaha 2 stroke 40 hp tlrv and when idling it makes this whistle sound every 10 seconds or so. At the same time when the whistle happens, i see some white smoke coming out of the exhaust... I have to tell you that this engine has been sitting for 2 years...
