    the cam could be toast. do a leak-down test. that will tell you if the issue is valves, rings, head gasket, or washed out cam. with the valve cover off, do all the rockers move the same amount (use a ruler or dial indicator)

    based on those pictures, the inflatable was stored outside in the sunlight and degraded by UV. the base material of the skin has deteriorated. the bladder may be OK. most reputable inflatable companies offer new skins and bladders. I would get a new inflatable.

    Welcome aboard. go thru the TB ignition troubleshooting tree in the stickies at the top of the sub-forum. if you have the older 2-wire ignition trigger, that design was replaced nearly 20 years ago with the updated 3-wire design. check that.

    I would simply cut the cable off a bit outside the tilt tube, then use a brass drift and a 5# fist maul and point the remaining bits out. Then clean up the inside of the tilt tube with a wheel cylinder hone.....Then get a new cable and helm
