    on a VP, if you are raw water cooled, look between the raw water pump and thermostat housing. The thermostat housing and the manifolds/risers you will have to pull the hoses off the thermostat housing and do a visual inspection. wih a high enough overheat, you could have burned the inside...

    Oar brackets are probably generic catalog items if the were not made in-house However at mirror, they did aluminum stamping, casting, etc, so they probably made them in house eBay may be a good place to look
