    Are the carbs for the newer mid 70's 85hp that don't have idle/slow speed mixture screws interchangeable with earlier models? Where the carbs with fixed mixture less troublesome? Whats the correct/recommended spark plugs for the 1969 85hp?

    Recommended wood for trailer bunks?

    Is there any type of wood thats better to use for bunks? Of course they will be covered in a carpet and the boat only used in fresh water! (Fiberglass boat)

    Will older evinrude and johnson outboards handle a 10% alcohol fuel/ oil mix? By older i mean pre 1980. Trying to find fuel without alcohol in it is getting very difficult.

    1969 85hp starflite, low power and cutting in and out
