    4.3 volvo with a holley

    Hey, I was wondering if anyone out there has a 4.3 Volvo with a Holley four barrel I just put one on and had to put a 3 inch riser because it would hit the thermostat housing. Does anybody have any recommendations on how to remove the risers and still run a Holley carb.

    AC delco ignition

    I am curious if anyone has installed a ac delco ignition system (distributor, cap rotor and coil) and removed the mercruiser stock thunderbolt ignition. If you have have you had any problems with it. My marina told me it is not safe??? And wants me to buy a new stock distributor, $$$$$$$$

    1990 4.3 Volvo, alt wiring

    I have a 1990 four winns 180 horizon with a 4.3 volvo penta, the purple wire from the alternator, AC TAP, goes to? The end of this wire has a male connector and I dont see where it should connect. Thank You Fran

    Low rpm stalls

    Hay, I just bought a 2002 regal 18' with a merc 4.3 2 brl, once it is warmed up to operating temp, 175 on gauge, it wont idle, or barely run below 1500-2000 rpms, if i can get it past that point is runs awsome. I have checked the cap rotor, spark in every plug, new 93 octane gas, any thoughts...
