    Make sure the cover is clean and FLAT.----All aluminum castings warp with time.

    Also replace the 2 rubber grommets in there.---A very thin coat of a gasket sealer ( Permatex ) is all that is required.----Many folks use way too much.-----Dry is better than RTV oozing out.

    When it is on a hose or trimmed out of the water there is NO LOAD on the prop.-----It will bark and roar on 3 of 6 cylinders.------Checked reed valves ?----Perhaps pistons are not installed correctly ??
