    1991 Chris Craft. Just out of storage. We went to start it and the engine fired right up but the starter stayed running, turned the key off and nothing, had to pull coil wire and turn battery off. Is the switch bad or do I have a starter solenoid problem, or both?

    The prop question is mute point. Long story short, got the boat cheap because it needs a total interior rebuild, now after getting it running and in the water it's got cracked manifolds and milky oil. It sucks because the hull is in great shape.

    Need help with choosing a prop for a 1992 rinker 186 with a 4.3 Yamaha. I'd like SS, it currently has no prop, I'm looking for just a good all around prop. I've had so many sizes and pitch suggestions and have no idea.

    I have a 1992 Rinker w/a 4.3 Yamaha, I changed the raw water pump impeller, the housing looks great. With the output hose off the pump and the muffs hooked up I'm not pumping water. I removed the intake hose from the plastic pipe and put the hose down it, started the boat and it pumps great...

    No Water Flow - Yamaha Sterndrive L4

    I'm having the exact issue as you. 92 Rinker, raw water pump housing is perfect, put new impeller in , ran a garden hose into the intake hose and it moves water great, put it on the muffs and nothing. What O ring are you referring to? One in the lower unit?
