My first post Repairing water pump on 69 9.5 hp
Following shop manual for 9r69s, but when four bolts removed, lower unit drops only about 1/4 inch. Not enough to get a screw driver in to disconnect shift connecter. How do i get it to drop further? Also the manual says to put motor in foward...
