    DT140 Speedometer hose routing?

    Can anyone tell me how the speedometer hose should be routed through my 2000 DT140? I've tried to slide it up the shaft with the shift rod, but it doesn't seem to fit. Am I doing this correctly or is there another way? Thanks.
