    Lower unit interchange

    Will a '98 65 hp yammy lower unit fit on a a '99 90 hp yammy? In the parts drawing I see there is a 13 t pinion on the 65 and a 12 t on the 90, they seem to run same props. What are the differences/ drawbacks?

    I am mounting a 2000 90 hp yamaha with a jet unit on my boat and am having a problem with not getting enough throttle cable throw out of my 703 control.
