    2006 Stingray 20' with the Merc 4.3 carb, 190hp engine. At top speed, there is a subtle rattle coming from the engine compartment. At first I thought something was loose and either banging around in there or even banging on the hull, because that's what it sounded like, a random 'banging around'...

    My trailer is exactly 2 years old, has about 500 miles on it, and has been on a launching ramp about 10 times. So far I have not serviced the trailer. How long should one go between adding grease?

    How essential is a level trailer?

    I tow a 3000 pound boat on a tandem trailer, and have a Class III hitch. My ball mount has a 2" drop. It's about an inch low. In other words, the trailer would be perfectly level if my ball mount had a 1" drop. That's an easy $20 fix but does an inch plus or minus make a difference?
