    Tach quit working 1999 135 Hp. Outboard

    How can I trouble shoot the signal coming from engine harness (grey wire). Is it a voltage signal? I have ammeter/voltmeter. The lead is good as I checked it for continuity back to where it connects in the engine. If there is no signal, what is the part that needs to be replaced? Thank, Gregg
