    1993 Johnson 70 hp water deflectors

    Can anyone tell me if this motor has deflectors and exactly where they should be located. I pulled the head off and didn't see anything. The motor is overheating before the thermostat opens. good stream but don't know if the cooling system is bleeding pressure off somewhere else. Thanks

    Looking for some advice my 93 70 hp overheats before the thermostat has a chance to open. As soon as the alarm sounds I can remove the housing and see that the thermostat had not opened much at all, and yes it is really overheating. Are missing restrictor plugs an option and where are they...
