    can anyone help ?

    I'm trying to figure out which version mercruiser outdrive I have.. it's a 470 outdrive model, with a 4 cyl 170 h.p engine number on outdrive unit is 6057533... then says 84R, it's in a 1982 Marlin boat . I need parts for the outdrive. Thanks, Al

    Cooling fresh water ?

    I just recently purchased a 1982 marlin 16 foot boat, has the mercruiser 470 with a 170 H.P inboard motor. This engine has a what I would call a closed water sytem.. water and antifreeze . It takes raw lake water to cool the closed water in a 3" long tube with plugs in ends... My question, can I...
