I am a new owner of a 2000 Johnson 115. The O&M manual says that in order to replace gearcase lubricant that step 1 is to remove drain/fill plug and lubricant level plug from side of gearcase and completely drain gearcase..... It is accompanied with a picture showing the location of both plugs...
