    Groung the battery

    can I ground the battery on my jon boat by simply attaching a wire to the negative post and attaching a screw to the aluminum seat and connecting a wire between the 2? Thanks, Jeff

    will 2 transom mount fish finders work?

    I have a jon boat with one fishfinder mounted on the back with a transom transducer on it. Can I mount another transom transducer on the back for a fish finder to be used in the front? Will there be any problems with this? Jeff

    '73 mercury 650 3 cylinder water pump lines

    I am having some friends put in a water pump and they discovered the lines are crimped and the threads are stripped out that the hydraulic lines go into. What part are these lines called and is it hard to replace? Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Fuel additives for increased compression?

    I have a 1973 Mercury 650, 3 cylinder. 2 cylinders are a little lower on compression. Ring job coming in the future??? Are there any fuel additives to help in the mean-time?

    Paint Aluminum jon

    I want to paint my aluminum jon. It has the original paint. What are the least expensive products to use to do this? Primer? Paint? Top coat? Original paint is chiping at handrail and scratches other areas. I want the simpliest least expensive method. Any help appreciated.

    Oil mixture for '73 650

    I just bought a 1973 Mercury 650 3 cylinder. What type of 2 stroke oil should I use and what is the ratio? Also, the compression is a litle lower on the first 2 cylinders than the last. Can I add anything to the oil/fuel mixture to help or clean it up? Thanks!;)
