    Evinrude 1982 140hp-Stumble

    My 1982 evinrude 140 stumbles a second when I slowly push the throttle forward - when I give it a hard fast throttle no stumble - is this due to the cheap gas - do I need to increas the octane from 89 to 92? Motor runs great otherwise. Any suggestions.

    1982 evinrude 140 rebuild with 90 heads

    I am doing a rebuild on a 1982 evinrude 140 using 90 heads (the #1 head got dinked up and I had the 90 heads) - the job is complete will put on water when the weather is good - how much power will it cost me? gvl
