The choke solonoid on a 1990 johnson v4 has a red lever...what is it for? Is it a manual overide or something? Should it move when the electric choke is applied? Thanks for any info.,,
My 20' 1983 Mako open fish is developing waves in the fiberglass along the side of the hull. I can push it in by hand but cant tell if the core is solid or not. Whats going on? is it fixable?<br />Thanks for any info.
Resistance through the charge coil on a 1990 johnson v4 reads 404 ohms, Clymer book specs 480 +/-25, other reference says 400-600, what problems would this cause? Havent had it in the water after sorting out a feul problem.
After reading some of the posts I realized that maybe running super in my 1990 VRO 140 was not a good idea. I have 40 gallons in the tank now. Should I scrap it, what are the problems with higher Octane? I have already run one tank through.
