    2004 Optimax Fuel Leak

    Does anyone know what might cause fuel to leak from the vapor separator ? It is like the float is not stopping the fuel and it continues to rise and release thru the vapor tube. I've tried two different assy's and it appears the floats are working. I'm baffeled. Any sugesstions?

    2004 Mercury Optimax 225

    I have a 2004 225 Optimax that is leaking fuel. I changed the fuel filter and scarred the inside of the filter opening. I'm now leaking fuel from below the engine somewhere. Can't see where it is coming from. No fuel coming from the filter. Any suggestions?
