    shift throttle controls

    Hello. I am putting a 2004 merc 25 4stroke on my 18 ft pontoon replacing a 1991 two stroke johnson motor so all the cables are old. Is this a job for a do it yourself or should I enlist professional help. I am located in the boonies so it is hard to get to a dealer. Thanks for any help. vol
