    Where can I find a new trigger coil for a 1984 mercury 9.8 hp? If they don't make them anymore where can I find a used one and what should I look for to make sure I get a good one that one go out so soon (I know used is luck of the draw)?

    Filling outdrive with lube

    1973 Mercruiser 120/140 outdrive The manual says to leave the top vent plug out and fill with lube through bottom drain plug until flows out top. Why can't you just fill it through top vent hole until it overflows there? Wouldn't that achieve same result?What about the lube that flows out...
