Just bought a boat with a 77 johnson 85hp outboard on it and yesterday it took a while to get it started but it finally did. Compression is excellent. Had to get a new battery though because the other one didnt have enough juice. Put new fuel in and 2 stroke oil. Went to try to fire it up...
