    I opened up my setup this past weekend for the first time. I have a 17 foot center console and the engine on it is a 125 Mercury. This thing should FLY!! I was guessing id get 50mph on it, but the GPS says between 32 and 34 mph. Anyone know any reason why this might be?

    Gamefisher 96 5hp Shifter is Stiff

    I have a 96 Gamefisher 5hp outboard and I have noticed that the shift linkage is very very stiff. I really need to use some UMPH to move that lever. Is it supposed to be this way? Is there a way to lube it to free it up a bit? It goes into gear fine, its just alot of work to move that lever.
