    Harmonic Balencer

    I purchased a 4.3 Long block "Vortec" from Rapido to replace my old 1989motor. The new one is a 98 or 99 vintage engine. Can I use the harmonic balancer from my 89 engine or do I have to get one for the correct year. The old one is in good condition. Thanks in advance for any help.
