    Primer celenoid on 1987 Johnson 200

    Wasn't there a service bulletin on these way back when? Mine does not spray fuel in when you pump the bulb unless you put it in the manual position. You can then hear the fuel spraying in. It works fine once the motor cranks.

    I need to replace the power trim on my 1987 200 hp Johnson. Someone has offered me a 1987 or 88 150 Johnson parts motor for 400$. The parts motor has a broken crankshaft. Assuming the shaft sizes are the same, is this a good deal. The parts motor is fresh water only.
