    Starcraft Starchief VIO?

    Looking at picking up a 18' starcraft starchief VIO (or V10, hard to say which way it's printed on the tag) And the S/N is 68 4796. Safe to assume this is a 68 model? It looks alot like a cheiftain but it's labeled as a starchief. Comes with a bad Mercruiser 120.

    Anyone with a shop manual for a Johnson 9.9? Can you check something for me?

    Waiting for a Seloc manual to shop up which might not even have what I'm looking for. Rebuilding a 74 Johnson 9.9 and I'm curious if there is a size tolerance for the needles in the rod bearings? Looking to see what the factory diameter is. If anyone can help, I would really appreciate it! Matt

    1978 25HP flywheel rubbing

    Got a 1978 25HP motor. Got it in pieces, noticed that the flywheel is rubbing on the charge coil. Took the flywheel off and sure enough I have marking of where it rubbed. Is there a good write-up on how to realign the charge coil? Matt

    I have a 71 22' Chieftain and it doesn't have a raised floor whereas alot of others I've seen do have a raised floor. What's everyone's opinion on having a raised floor vs not?

    Floor height in rebuild

    I'm going to put a new floor and stringers in a forester playmate and I was thinking of lowering the floor a couple of inches. I was thinking about how does the factory decide where to put the floor height? Its a Tri Hull so my guess is the floor is already placed at the lowest part of the mold...

    EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED! Trying to reinstall pre-alpha lower unit!

    removing cap on crestliner troubles

    got a crestliner muskie 15 runabout and trying to remove the cap on it to redo the flooring. I have gone around and taken all the staples out of the folds, but it won't budge when we try to lift it. were there other key spots that the cap was attached usually? thanks! -Mattie

    140 mercruiser, shift problems....let me know if i'm right

    Question on blowers for motor well

    My Crestliner Muskie-16 has 2 inlets and 2 outlets for fresh air for the motor well. There is only one blower connected to one of the outlets, is this correct? Should there be blowers for both outlets/exhaust? Are the inlets suppose to have no blower attached? Thanks! -Mattie
