    Installing reed block on inline 6

    I am at the point of my rebuild where I am putting things back together and my Mercury manual says to "Lubricate the reed block inner bore with grease". Am I suppose to put just a little grease on the raised areas or to fill the valleys also? Would it hurt to fill the valleys? Thanks Durwood
