Does anyone know anything about putting a longer shaft on a trolling motor. Mine has a 36 inch shaft and I want to make a 42 inch. The wiring is no problem, but how do I get the shaft apart from the motor. As you can tell I am to cheap to buy a new 42 inch motor.
