    Help, What do you use. Volvo make a 75w-90 gear oil at $15 quart. Some shops tell me only to use the Volvo. Has a rating of API-GL5 and is synthetic. Royal purple is rated for GL-5 as well as other brands. One shop recommended a Sierra brand gear oil, another Johnson/Evinrude and still another...

    Does anyone know where I can get the SX outdrive manual or an engine manual in a free pdf file. 1997 5.7 GL with SX outdrive. I have all the specific #'s if needed. I believe the manual from Volvo is 7797410-parts and 7797360-work manual. not sure of the SX drive manual
