    What is the max rpm of a 92 Evinrude 60hp?

    Anyone happen to know what the manufacturer recommendation on max rpm is for a E60tlene. Right now I am at 5100 rpm at WOT, I am thinking this is low. I have a 13x19 prop on it, I am thinking a 13x15 might be more appropriate. The boat is a 93 Lund Explorer in case it matters. Thanks!!!

    idling rpm?? 60hp Evinrude

    I have a 92 60hp Evinrude (E60TLENE). I am going to clean the carbs and prep everything for the season:rolleyes: It seems that currently the idle may be a little high it idles at about 1400-1500 is this normal and if not what should the idle be set at?? Thanks!!

    Aluminum Boat wax

    This may seem odd, I am considering waxing my aluminum boat to help remove water scum and such this summer. Has anyone else waxed their aluminum boat and if you have what kind of wax did you use? From what I can tell there is not a wax out there specifically for aluminum boats. Thanks!!
