    Pulley installation on bravo water pump (advice please)

    Have a new bravo water pump with a new pulley to fit on it. Want to avoid buying an expensive install tool. Would it be ok to place pulley onto shaft wind in a bolt through the shaft, with a nut and some washers, until it seats then turn the nut to push the pulley onto the shaft. Simple ;)...
