    My 1992 merc.200 offshore tilt motor will go down but not up. third motor in two years. switched the soleniods still goes down but not up? HELP!!!!

    Tried cable adj.messed up foward so I put it back. the problem started all at once, no warning. just what is a shif clutch? and should I try to fix it myself? Thanks for the advice

    I have a 1992 200 merc offshore that jumps an bucks when put in reverse, forward is fine. any ideas on what the problem is and should I try to fix it myself?
