    tiny tach setup?

    two stroke fires once per revolution right? i did a search on here on the tiny tach and read that you set it on 2 sparks per revolution:confused: if the two stroke fires once per revolution, i'm thinking i would set it to 360 degrees which = 1 spark per revolution. is this correct?

    I have a 1979 two stroke 15hp evinrude, do i set the tiny tach at 360 degrees which = 1 spark per revolution? and how do i know when i get a good signal? and any other tips would be welcome. i could call tiny tach but i dont know if there open on weekends.

    noisy manual starter

    1968 6hp johnson manual starter noisy on release, is this normal? or can i fix it? i had to remove it to do a carb rebuild, this engine is new to me, but i don't recall it doing it before i removed it.
