    Wrong Way Control

    I had a 2002 Mercury 4 Stroke 50 HP put on my boat with mercury side controls I got on EBAY The motor runs great but when I put in forward it goes backwards and reverse goes forward. Is their a way to chage something so it goes the right way? Thanks
