    I have a 1998 Tahoe Q5 with the 4.3L mercruiser. I got the old starter off but noticed an extra wire that was not hooked up to the old starter. It was an orange wire. It appears from reading other post that this wire normally runs from the alternator. I want to be sure that is correct before...
