My boat is wearing me out. I have a Merc 80HP Outboard 2-stroke. Idles fine and runs at top end fine. When I put it in gear it dies. I have to jam it in gear quickly to get it to go. The carbs are all cleaned. I ran the three cans of sea foam through. I noticed today that my voltage drops...
I was told by mechanic everything on motor is fine except theres buildup on the pistons and rings. The boat dies when put in gear..it will run if you put it in gear quickly (sometimes). What do I use to clean the pistons and rings?? How do I do it also??
