    '60 Johnson 80 - Water in 2 Cylinders - Hours for repair?

I have a '66 Johnson 80HP, holds 100+ on all four, has a new carb, new lower unit, new harness, but now that she's up and running she gets water in two cylinders. Her history is of meticulous care, but the previous owner passed a few years ago, so in what state he left her is unknown. We got...

Sourcing Canvas Top or Top Pattern

Hi All, I have a 1960 Cruisers Inc. Commander 17'. It came with the convertible top frame but not the canvas top itself. The top was made by Cruis-tops - see the image - which was a full length top, it had an extra frame to hold the far rear of the cover up at the same height as the front if...

    1960 Cruisers 17' Max O/B Weight

Question 1: I got her to start (a couple of times, anyway) but the prop turns in neutral. Is this normal? I tried...

New to Forum and Swim Ladder Question

Hi all, I'm the proud owner of a 1960 Cruisers Commander with a 1966 Johnson 80HP. Truth be told there's not too much to restore, although being a virgo I can come up with a list in no time. Glad to be here. So she came with what I believe to be an original folding mahogany swim ladder. It...
