    Cracked flywheel

    I have a 1970 80hp Merc that started to make a lot of noise so I removed the cover and took hold of the flywheel. To my surprise it felt loose!     4.3 merc runs on @ shut down

    I've got a 2000 Sea Ray with a merc 4.3 that likes to run-on when you go to shut her down. I've put new fuel in her and still have the same problem. Not to sure of what to look for! Maby someone here will be able to help? :confused:

    Mariner 150 water tell tail ???

    Just bought a boat with a 1998 Mariner 150. Had it in the water and there was hardly any water coming out of the tell tail, :confused: but once the temp came up to about 170deg/f the water would flow nicely. Is this normal or should the water be flowing at all temps??
