    loss of power under a load

    I have a 2001, 5.7l mercruiser bravo outdrive, completely tuned up plugs wires cap rotor also had the throttle body rebuilt. Runs wonderful at idle once in gear it will only turn up 2000 rpm ocassionally making a pop or knocking sound. Anyone have any idea or suggestions regarding this issue?
