I originally posted this in the wrong section so here goes. I have a 1971 17" aluminum v hull smith craft with a Johnson 60HP outboard. It has cable and drum steering and it needs almost complete replacement. I am looking for a better system to install in it's place. Thanks for the help. Matt

THIS MOTOR RUNS GREAT FOR THE FIRST 30 MINUTES THEN SEEMS TO RUN ON ONLY ONE OR TWO OF THE THREE CYLINDERS. AFTER IT COOLS OFF IT RUNS GREAT UNTIL IT WARMS BACK UP. I HAVE REPLACED THE ELECTRONIC IGNITION BOX AND IT DID NOT FIX IT. MATT
