    Weird thing just hapened with 87 20 hp

    engine was running great, i was rechecking timing with a light at full rpm, seemed ok so i chopped the throttle down and engine died.... try to restarted and i was unsucessfull, i check the spark it was ok , fuel was good , it sounded like it wanted to start... , i took timing advance linkage...

    i have a 1987 20hp merc that i converted from remonte to tiller . in the process i changed all of the linkages and timing got all screwed up. all of the dots and lines on the fly wheel are are quite confusing .. what dot/ line on the fly wheel do you use for a reference for at idle? dos any...

    remonte to tiller conversion

    Hallo was wondering if any one knows a good site( beside ebay) to find a used tiller handle for a 20 hp merc. buddy of my gave me his old motor , but to make it work on my 12 ft aluminum i have to convert it to tiller setup. thanks:)

    12 ft aluminiun boat Hp rating

    Label on my 12 ft aluminum boat says that max horsepower rating is 12 HP .What will happened if i put 20 HP on it? beside going fast of course..:) i got 8hp honda that wont plane this boat with 2 ppl and gear , buddy gave me his old 20 hp merc, .....

    honda 8hp 4 stroke prop help

    I have this 8 hp that i bought 2 weeks a go and im very dissapointed with performance its a 12 ft aluminum V hull boat ,by my self it will plane after a bit when i put fuel tank up front only! with 2 ppl forget it...it only has about 1/2 rpm and plowing through the water prop thats on it...
