    correct size fuel hose

    what is the correct size of fuel hose for an 85 h.p. 1984 force motor? currently i am using 3/8" but I have read that 5/16ths is also used. which is better? also does anyone have the part numbers for the quick connect male and female pieces for portable fuel tanks? thanks!
