Apparently, tilt/trim fluid is low, book says to refill with motor down, but its up and I cant get it down! how do i get the motor down to refill fluid? hoping to fish tomorrow, but outlook is not too good if I cant get motor down!
Changed the screw on fuel filter, and now cant get fuel to the filter or motor. Hoping someone can tell me a secret for priming the system. The easy way
1989 Yamaha 130 hp, put 1 gallon penzoil in tank, will it hurt to top the tank off with Quicksilver 2 cycle oil? (oil injected).
Just not sure about mixing 2 different oils

I have a Larson DC 170 with a 3.7 mercruiser with an Alpha one outdrive. I need to change the starter on it and would like to know what size wrench it takes, and any tips to make removing the starter easier. Thanks for any help on this matter.

alpha one engine? And any tips on the easiest way to ge to the bolts would be greatly appreciated.
